An opportunity has arisen for a Workspace Manager within the Resources directorate.This role focuses on managing the changing and challenging requirements of managed workspaces across the County’s property portfolio. You will play a key role in ensuring workspaces operate effectively and support staff and services.

About the role
As Workspace Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations across managed workspaces, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and consistently.You will work with colleagues, contractors and partners to develop and maintain a high-quality workspace environment.Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and improving the workspace booking system (cloud booking), including user support.
- Coordinating small office moves and supporting wider property projects.
- Ensuring workspace facilities, equipment and environments are fit for purpose.
- Working with stakeholders to maintain effective day-to-day operations.
- Monitoring service quality, budgets and workspace performance.
- Supporting compliance, reporting, and business continuity arrangements.
What we are looking for
- Experience delivering excellent customer service and managing projects.
- Ability to manage stakeholders, contractors and budgets.
- Knowledge of health and safety and office/property environments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and ICT skills.
- Experience in performance, contract and risk management.
- Ability to influence, build relationships and implement change.
