Waste Strategy and Policy Manager (Temporary)

Uttlesford District Council is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Waste Strategy and Policy Manager to lead the development of waste policies and service improvements across Environmental Services. This is a key leadership role supporting the Councils commitment to sustainability and Net Zero by 2030.

Reporting to the Director of Environment and Climate Change, you will manage a small team and oversee waste minimisation campaigns, commercial waste services, and service support functions. You will lead on policy development aligned with Simpler Recycling and the Climate Change Action Plan, while driving operational efficiency and performance.
