Waste Operations Loader and Van Driver

Full Time 37 – hours

Grade 3 - £27,254 to £28,598 pa

We are looking for a full-time Loader and Van driver to work based from The Farmhouse Depot, Canvey Island on the Refuse & Recycling Waste in – house Service.

This physically demanding role requires the applicant be part of a team to ensure the Boroughs waste streams are collected.

Key Skills and abilities

Promote good working practise, be punctual and flexible and work under pressure whilst adhering to all working Health and Safety polices and follow training schedules.

To hold a valid driving licence and be able to drive a van up to and including a 3.5t vehicle.

Experience

Previous practical experience working within Waste Industry is desirable.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a valid Licence B,B1 Qualification.
