
Venue Technician

Join us as a Venue Technician and play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical support for events at Ashton Hall and other council venues. Your expertise will ensure every concert, performance, and function runs smoothly, safely, and professionally, enriching Lancaster’s vibrant community life.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll prepare and operate sound, lighting, and AV systems for a variety of live events, assist with staging and equipment setup, and liaise closely with hirers and performers to meet their technical needs. Your role includes maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the Venue Manager to provide a welcoming and professional service.
You’ll Fit Right In If…
You have solid experience with digital sound and lighting, understand stage management and safety, and thrive in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments. You take pride in working collaboratively, show ambition in your technical skills, and take ownership of delivering safe, high-quality event support. Salary range
- £26,403 - £31,022 per year
