Permanent Position (37 hours per week)
Grade D(SCP19 - 23) - £27,759 - £30,768 per annum

The Technical Officer will be working with Technical Analyst to provide the first line and first-class Technical Service Desk using great customer skills that is supported with technical knowledge, you will be a key part of the delivery of our Digital, Data and Technology services.
It gets more exciting. Brentwood and Rochford Councils have joined and are working together to create “One Team” for two Councils. Working in the Council’s IT Team and moving towards an integrated One Team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies, challenges, and opportunities to upskill. Acting as an ambassador for the Team - You will be part of motivated and forward-thinking technology team. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the effective delivery of the Council’s Digital Strategies and improve the Customer and Employee experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and ITIL would be advantageous.
As the Council continues with the transformation agenda, this job role will continue to evolve to fit into the new working practices of the organisation.
