Team Manager – Learning Disabilities

Job Description

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to join our Adults and Public Health Directorate. The successful candidate will lead the Learning Disabilities Community Team, ensuring a balanced skill mix and maintaining safe staffing levels at all times. This role involves overseeing the delivery of services to individuals with a range of physical and mental disabilities, with a steadfast focus on assessments and interventions that maximise recovery and promote independence.

As Team Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the service, ensuring that practice is both safe and effective. You will provide professional leadership to a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care. We are looking for a leader who can navigate complex safeguarding and legislative requirements while ensuring that the expressed wishes and needs of our service users remain at the heart of all decision-making.
