Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant (Grade B) and Midday Supervisor

Contract type: Temporary for 1 year with a view to making permanent

Grade: Teaching Assistant Level B NJC Scale 4a point 9/10, pro rata

Midday Supervisor NJC Scale 3 point 7/8, pro rata

Hours per week: 27.5 per week (plus 2.5 hours on MDSA rate) Monday-Friday

Paid weeks per year: 46.94(Up to 5 years service) or 47.78 (Over 5 years service) – TA role,

47.36 (Up to 5 years service) or 47.99 (Over 5 years service) – MDSA role inclusive of holiday entitlement @43.89

Start date: ASAP

Elm Grove Primary School requires an enthusiastic, committed Early Years Teaching Assistant from Monday to Friday, during school hours.

You will be required to work at the school, currently in Early Years , providing support with individuals, small groups and general assistance in the classroom. You will also join our lunchtime supervision team on a separate contract, working 2 hours per week on an MDSA rate (NJC Scale 3)
