Here’s your draft advert: Make a Difference in Lancaster
Join us as the SHIP Coordinator and play a vital role in enhancing supported housing for vulnerable adults across Lancaster and Preston. You will lead the delivery of the Supported Housing Improvement Programme (SHIP), improving quality and standards in short-term and transitional housing. Your work will directly impact the lives of those facing mental health challenges, substance misuse, rough sleeping, and learning disabilities, helping to create safer, more supportive communities.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will manage a small team, develop and oversee the SHIP Delivery Plan, and lead project meetings with a multi-disciplinary team. Your role includes monitoring service quality, developing policies, liaising with Housing Benefits, and preparing reports for funders. You will also build strong relationships with housing providers, coordinate training and networking events, and contribute to risk management and programme evaluation.

You’ll Fit Right In If…
You bring strong project management experience and a passion for improving supported accommodation. You are organised, communicative, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. Your creativity and problem-solving skills will help you thrive in this role. Above all, you share our values of Working Together, Ambition, Pride, and Ownership, driving positive change for our community.
