About the Team

Our provider services support people who have Learning Disabilities and/or Autism with varying levels of need. This is an opportunity to be part of our supported living service, which enables people to live as independently as possible in their own homes and engage in their local communities. This service operates across Bath & North East Somerset.

About the Role

Our support workers fulfil an essential role. Across our service this can vary from supporting people in a day service to keeping them as independent as possible in their own homes. Essential functions across all of our service would include: engaging with a person to support their communication and choices, completing personal care as required, assisting with meals and drinks to the level the person needs support, ensuring medication is taken as directed and supporting each person to live a fulfilled, active life.

To enter into a career in care and support you need to be passionate about supporting people, willing to learn, have good fitness and transferable skills. We provide full training for this role, including the Care Certificate. Driving is an advantage but not essential.

You can expect:

About You
