Street Cleansing Driver/Operative

37 hours per week (Covering 7 days on a 37-hour rota basis between 6am - 10pm)

Salary ranges from £25,989 to £28,598

27 days Annual Leave, increasing after 5 years’ service

The successful candidate will drive and operate a selection of cleansing vehicles as well as undertaking general street cleansing duties, within the Borough of Hastings and St. Leonards. The postholder will ensure that a high standard of cleansing is maintained and will have excellent customer service skills.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of driving street cleansing vehicles and will have the ability to operate a wide range of street cleansing equipment.

Essential: Cat C1 (7.5t) Driving Licence category with current valid DCPC & Tacho Card.

Desirable: Cat C (Class 2) Driving Licence category with current valid DCPC & Tacho Card.
