£36,482 to £39,845 per annum (Pay Award Pending)

37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Street Cleaning Manager. Joining an already high performing team, the successful candidate will be working from our depot located at Bourne House Depot in Romsey and will have primary responsibility for overseeing all street cleaning operations.

If you enjoy managing a proactive team providing essential services for the public to access, we have a great new prospect within our Environmental Services team for you. You will lead and supervise a street cleaning team carrying out activities, such as litter picking, fly tip removal, mechanical sweeping and litter bin emptying amongst many others. You will also support the Grounds maintenance Manager covering their absence. As they will also support you.

It is essential that you have a supervisory/management qualification to manage staff or equivalent experience. You will be working with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, as well as members of the public and councillors, you’ll need good communication skills. You’ll also need to be proficient in using relevant IT systems.
