We are recruiting a Social Care Worker at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 1 x 18 hours per week & 2 x Zero Hours Contract
Contract Type: 1 x Part Time, Permanent & 2 x Relief/Casual
Location: Ty Gwilym Respite Home

Team: Provider Services

We pay an attractive salary of £13,201 - £14,071 (18 hours) / £13.69 per hour (Relief/Casual) and offer access to training and development opportunities.

Respite Services at Montclaire (Blackwood) and Ty-Gwilym (Energlyn, Caerphilly) are currently looking to recruit Social Care Workers to join our dedicated team:

1 x 18-hour night shift position available at Ty-Gwilym.

2 x Casual positions available across both services.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • Willingness to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
  • Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living and social skills.
  • Ability to work shifts on a rota basis, and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
