Location: Split Location between Shocklach Oviatt CofE Primary School and Tushingham-with-Grindley CofE Primary School

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full time. 52 weeks a year

Hours: 30 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Site Manager to join our friendly team working across both school sites of Tushingham-with-Grindley CofE Primary School and Shocklach Oviatt CofE Primary School.

The successful candidate will be committed to providing the best and safest environment possible whilst keeping our schools secure. They will undertake regular compliance checks and will work closely with the office team. A good sense of humour is most welcome in our friendly and happy schools!

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain the school building, including effecting repairs and improvements;
• Discuss with and monitor the work of contractors engaged by school to ensure specified standards are achieved;
• Provide security arrangements including the opening or closing buildings at the beginning and end of the school day;
• Maintain and monitor Health and Safety standards, reporting any failures;
• Organise and carry out portering and some cleaning duties (including the moving of furniture);
• Supervise the work of cleaning staff;
• Maintain the necessary stock of appropriate resources.
