    What is the job role?

    This is an exciting time to join us as we work to put adults and their carers at the heart of everything we do.

    We are recruiting a Service Manager to provide effective leadership and management of mental Health services in conjunction with health colleagues. The role is responsible for the delivering of Mental Health services as part of S75 agreement with health partners.

    You will efficiently and effectively lead and manage services, ensuring they meet relevant quality standards, are responsive and inclusive, personalised, outcome focused, promote independence and enhance choice and control of people with care and support needs and carers.

    At this exciting time for Adult Social Care, as Service Manager you will lead and contribute to the overall development of service provision in response to new government initiatives, guidance and legislation.

    This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

    All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.

    Who are we looking for?

    We are looking for an individual with significant knowledge and experience of working within Mental Health Services and must have an Approved Mental Health Practitioner qualification

    You will have experience of managing large operational services within health or social care services, experience of managing complex budgets and of maintaining services while adhering to tight financial targets.

    We are looking for someone who is adaptable to change, committed to delivering personalised outcomes and has experience in multi / cross agency working at management level and working with ethnically diverse teams and clients.

    You will have a professional qualification in a health or social care discipline and current registration with the relevant professional body as well as be an approved Mental Health practitioner and evidence of personal development and commitment to learning.
