
Senior Systems Support Officer

Salary: Scale 6 – S01 (£33,106 - £37,408 per annum) (pro rata)
Hours: 20 hours per week
The Role:
An enthusiastic and IT literate candidate with specialist knowledge of Idox Uniform or similar applications is needed to fill a vacancy within Regulatory Services. The role will involve the provision of ICT system support principally to Regulatory Services in relation to existing software Uniform (IDOX) and Exacom, but also in relation to other IDOX applications such as Data Management Tool, Document Management System, Gazetteer, Public/Consultee Access, Total Land Charges and Enterprise and support with any new, emerging or replacement software provision.
You will be required to work with relevant services to identify, evaluate, prioritise and implement areas for improvement and monitor and report on ongoing performance. The post will plan specific projects and work to ensure service area needs and requirements are met.
The post will also support the use of other third-party software applications (including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Access, and Power Bi) to creating and maintaining reports to enable the collation of information and statistics relating to departmental performance reporting.
What we are looking for:-
Experience in Technical Administration, Project Management, Auditing or ICT, the role also requires strong verbal, written and organisational skills. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability and initiative to handle a diverse and competing workload and work to tight deadlines. Good interpersonal and management skills will also be necessary, as will be liaising and negotiating with the public, external agents and organisations, Council Members and other Council departments.
