  • Leading project work, migrations, configuration, administration and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud services, acting as a subject matter expert for Microsoft 365.
  • Implementing robust cyber security measures to protect infrastructure, systems and data, including access controls, retention, encryption, vulnerability monitoring and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Providing third-line support for cloud and hybrid infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues and offering expert guidance to colleagues across IT.

About you

We are looking for a technically strong, proactive and collaborative engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and improving services.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

  • Designing, maintaining and administering hybrid cloud infrastructure environments, including on-premises and cloud/Azure services.
  • Microsoft 365 platform management, including identity governance, Microsoft Entra, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, enterprise applications, Exchange Online and Intune.
  • Cyber security and compliance within Microsoft 365, including implementation and management of Purview, retention, Data Loss Prevention, information protection and eDiscovery.
  • Using PowerShell or other scripting languages to automate administrative, configuration and deployment tasks.

What we offer

In return for your commitment and enthusiasm, some of what we offer:

  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements
  • Free parking
  • 25 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays
  • Membership to the Local Government Pension Scheme
