We are seeking a highly motivated individual with great communication skills and the ability to deal calmly and professionally with sometimes difficult and sensitive situations.
This is an excellent development opportunity for someone with existing skills and experience in delivering parking services and enforcement. As a Senior Civil Enforcement Officer, you will be required to stand in, acting as a Supervisor when the permanent Supervisor(s) are on leave or away from the business. It is estimated this will be for a minimum of 64 days per annum, during the acting up period you will receive an acting up allowance equivalent to that of a Civil Enforcement Supervisor. The remainder of the time, you will carry out the duties of a Civil Enforcement Officer.
When standing in, you will be expected to support CEO’s, advising them on technical and operational matters, liaising with clients as required, allocating resources and dealing with front line management of staff.
You will be required to travel to other locations to deal with unexpected events at short notice, therefore, it is important that you have access to a vehicle during your working hours.
The successful candidate will have a relevant parking services qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent previous experience. You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in managing or supervising a team. Your experience of managing a team will ensure that you are able to proactively manage staff performance, absence, development and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will also have excellent prioritisation skills and be able to manage their own workload and that of the Parking Services team in order to deliver a high level of customer service.
A full current driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential as there is a requirement to travel to other locations within the county of Leicestershire.
Your working week will include some Saturday, Sunday and early evening working. There will be an enhanced rate for working Sunday. There will be some opportunities for overtime.
