    The Senior Brokerage Officers will lead a team of Brokerage Officers who directly broker services to find the right care and support solutions for people as part of the brokerage process. They will be aligned to a portfolio area (Transitions, Working Age Adults or Older Adults). Working closely with the Adult Social Care and Health Directorate’s Commissioning Team, social care assessment staff, NHS colleagues and care providers, they will arrange, co‑ordinate, negotiate and broker packages, placements and supporting social care services in response to identified needs.


    The role:

    • As a Senior Brokerage Officer you will be part of a new Brokerage service to deliver excellent care and support services to support people in Liverpool to live their best lives
    • As a Senior Brokerage Officer you will lead, develop and support a small team of Brokerage Officers
    • Taking on the role as a Senior Brokerage Officer will enable you to shape and develop your own portfolio expertise and put in place streamlined and effective brokerage processes to support

    We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in children's or young adults service provision / social care / brokerage / placement finding experience; but also welcome applications from people with adult social care experience too
