About the Role:

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate cleaner to join our team at Elleray Park School Pensby, providing tailored support for students with severe and complex special needs. As a cleaner, you will play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment that supports the well-being of both our students and staff. The hours of work will be 07:00 - 09:00 Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regular cleaning of classrooms, offices, corridors, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Ensuring all areas are clean and sanitised, following health and safety protocols.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school grounds.
• Handling cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Supporting the school¿s needs, including any special cleaning requirements for students with additional needs.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of health and safety practices in cleaning environments.
• A positive, can-do attitude and an empathetic approach to working in a special needs environment.
• A willingness to undergo a background check (DBS clearance).
