    Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Adult Safeguarding Partnership Board (SSASPB) is a multi-agency partnership that ensures local agencies and professionals in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent work together to effectively safeguard adults from abuse and neglect.     We have a fantastic opportunity for a Safeguarding Partnership Improvement Project Manager within the SSASPB team. This is a key role within a small team that is responsible for supporting the smooth running and functions of the partnership board.

    Main Responsibilities

    As our Safeguarding Partnership Improvement Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects that support the Board’s statutory duties and strategic ambitions. You will:

    • Design, develop, and deliver multi-agency projects that drive measurable improvements in safeguarding outcomes.
    • Work collaboratively with strategic leads to embed the six safeguarding principles into all aspects of Board delivery.
    • Develop and maintain data dashboards and performance frameworks to provide assurance and track progress.
    • Lead on the creation of systems and processes that support effective project management, reporting, and continuous improvement.
    • Work collaboratively with partners and responsible leads, driving the assurance activity and assessing the impact of learning from Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs)
    • Champion a culture of high challenge, support, and values-led change.

    This is a fixed-term 12-month post to support the Boards development and planning activity to deliver against our strategic priorities and performance frameworks.

    The role is hybrid, with the team working remotely most of the time; there is some requirement for face to face and office attendance across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent on an ad hoc basis.

    The Ideal Candidate

    What We’re Looking For

    • Relevant qualifications and experience in project management, performance development.
    • Proven experience managing projects in a multi-agency setting, ideally within the health and care sector.
    • Strong skills in data management, analysis, and reporting.
    • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
    • A collaborative, values-led approach with a passion for improving outcomes for adults at risk.
    • Intellectual curiosity and a track record of innovation and continuous improvement.
    • A broad understanding of safeguarding legislation, requirements, and themes.
