We are recruiting a Reviewing Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Rhymney Integrated Health and Social Care Centre
Team: North Older People Team

We pay an attractive salary of £31,537 - £34,434 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking a Reviewing Officer to join the North Older People Team, located at the Rhymney Integrated Health and Social Care Centre. The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting scheduled reviews and lower-level assessments, as well as contributing to the team's duty function.

Those applying will need to have a good understanding of an outcome-focused approach to social care, and the application of the principles set out in the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  • A level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
  • Experience of using initiative, self-reliance and appropriate relevant risk taking in respect of promoting service users’ independence and positive outcomes.
  • A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit service users and attend meetings.
