We are looking for a Review Officer to join our team, supporting the delivery of timely and person-centred Care Act reviews across the Isle of Wight. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring that people receiving care and support continue to have services that reflect their needs, strengths and personal goals.

Working closely with Social Workers and Senior Social Workers, you'll speak directly with individuals and their families, gathering information about what is working well, what may have changed and whether current support arrangements remain appropriate. Through these conversations, you'll help identify opportunities to promote independence, wellbeing and choice, while ensuring any significant changes in need, risk or safeguarding concerns are escalated appropriately.

The role combines meaningful contact with people who use our services with strong administrative and analytical skills. You'll maintain accurate records, support the management of review activity, use operational data to help prioritise workloads and work collaboratively with colleagues, providers and partner organisations to ensure reviews are completed effectively and within required timescales.

We're looking for someone who is organised, confident communicating with a wide range of people and able to manage information accurately and sensitively. Experience in social care, health, customer service or administration would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in people who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a commitment to supporting people to live independent and fulfilling lives.

If you're looking for a rewarding role where your work will make a genuine difference to local people every day, we'd love to hear from you.

For further information or an informal discussion please contact Rachel McCleave at rachel.mccleave@iow.gov.uk or Claire Jasper at claire.jasper@iow.gov.uk
