We have an exciting opportunity to join adult social care commissioning within the Resource Allocation Team helping to ensure that our systems are developed to support payments to providers, funding is allocated accurately, public money is recovered appropriately, and residents receive the support they need at the right time. This team supports us with ensuring that our funding across adult social care and systems managing payments are accurate and well developed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on challenge, enjoys working with complex information, and is confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will bring experience of managing, monitoring and reporting detailed data, alongside a strong understanding of Continuing Healthcare (CHC). Knowledge of system C and ContrOCC would be beneficial, as is the ability to take ownership of complex issues and see them through to resolution.
About the role
The Resource Allocation Officer plays a vital role in ensuring care funding across Adult Social Care is allocated accurately and in line with statutory requirements. From Integrated Care funding to dealing with funding top ups, fee administration and fraud alerts you will help strengthen financial governance, support sustainable services, and make sure funding arrangements are managed effectively. You will be involved with developing our case management systems to reflect contracts with providers, helping to build functionality that will enable support automated payments. Setting up vendors, creating purchase orders and managing invoice payments are all part of the job.
