Looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day?

We’re looking for a caring and committed Residential Support Worker to join our Residential Short Breaks Service at Furze House, supporting children with complex needs in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of complex health needs and behaviours that challenge. All children have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and attend specialist education settings within the local area.

As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping to ensure each child’s experience is positive, meaningful, and person-centred. You’ll work as part of a team to provide consistent care and support, helping children feel safe, valued, and able to enjoy their time with us.

Site-Based role

This is a Site-Based role, and you’ll be expected to work from the designated workplace.

  • Week two: Tuesday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning

Shifts are:

  • Afternoon shifts: 2.30pm to 9.30pm

Interviews for this role will be held on 13th July 2026

At Milton Keynes City Council, we aim to make a difference every day. We’re dedicated, respectful and collaborative. We act as one council, and we work hard to create cleaner, safer and healthier communities while tackling inequalities and supporting people to thrive.
