The role:
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our refugee resettlement service. We are expanding our team to directly deliver support for our residents who arrive on refugee resettlement programmes
The role is based within the Council’s Refugee & Migration team (Our Liverpool). As a Refugee Programme Support Officer, you will be at the forefront of making sure Liverpool is a welcoming city for all our residents and the Council is a welcoming organisation
We are excited to create this new role to ensure that residents who arrive on refugee resettlement programmes are given the best support to rebuild their lives, settle and thrive within the city
Liverpool has a long history of migration from the Chinese, African and Caribbean communities through to modern migration from Ukraine or Afghanistan; the city is a wonderful place to live and work because of the communities who have made it their home
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us to provide support to the Resettlement service to help the successful resettlement of refugees into the city
The role is a varied one where you will provide administrative, financial and organisational support to the Resettlement team, working with internal colleagues and external partners to support the smooth running of the service
You will have the opportunity to have a hybrid working week (home and office)

Salary range
- £31,022 - £35,412 per year
