Liverpool City Council is looking for a motivated and compassionate Refugee and Migration Support Officer to join our Refugee and Migration Housing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping refugees, people seeking sanctuary, and vulnerable migrants access safe housing, understand their housing rights, and successfully rebuild their lives in Liverpool.

As part of the Our Liverpool Team, you will contribute to making Liverpool a welcoming, inclusive city where everyone has the opportunity to thrive from the moment they arrive.

Working closely with the Refugee and Migration Housing Officers and Team Leader, you will support the delivery of a high-quality housing advice, homelessness prevention, assessment, and rehousing service.

No two days will be the same. You'll work collaboratively with internal services, accommodation providers, community organisations, and key partners to ensure timely and effective housing solutions for some of the city's most vulnerable residents.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing housing advice and support to refugees, people seeking sanctuary, and vulnerable migrants
• Supporting the Refugee and Migration team in homelessness prevention and relief activities
• Be the first point of contact with the Refugee and Migration team
• Triage and allocate cases and liaise with partners regarding partnership working
• Supporting individuals to access relevant services and wider support networks
• Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service performance and quality standards.

This role is fixed term and will end 31st March 2028.
