About the Role
This is a pivotal time for the Liverpool City Region in relation to transport, our ambition is to deliver a modern, integrated and publicly controlled public transport system.
Our Rail Operations Manager will manage the day-to-day operational performance of the Merseyrail Concession as well as full operational oversight and influence of performance of the wider rail network across the Liverpool City Region.
About the person
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has experience of leading and managing a specialist rail team. You will oversee the management and day-to-day operation as well as building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including operators at a senior level.
You will have rail industry service delivery experience to ensure the railway network is resilient and able to respond to challenges and opportunities that always puts the customer first.
It is essential that you already have a good understanding of the transport network on Merseyside as you lead a team alongside the Bus Operations Manager to ensure delivery of services within a multi-modal integrated network.

- •Experience at a senior management level in the heavy rail industry supported by technical practical experience from that sector.

Salary range
- £57,472 - £68,222 per year
