Work Location: County Hall, Groby Road, Glenfield, Leicestershire, LE3 8RL

Salary: £26,832 - £28,146 Per annum (Pro rata for part time) Pay award pending

Working Hours: Full Time – Mon – Thurs 8:30am – 5pm, Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide specialist administration support to the Quality and Contracts team. This will involve managing the enquiry line which is the central point for internal staff and external parties to contact the team.

You will be managing a range of queries every day via email and telephone. You will also be supporting the team with information about concerns in providers and safeguarding information.

You will oversee contractual changes and manage information about the quality of contracted providers. The queries are varied and can be very complex so you will need to be confident with dealing with a wide range of information and communicating with different audiences.

You must be able to work with the team to develop processes and support with implementation.

About You

• Support people to resolve complex organisational issues including interpreting and communicating information to different audiences.
• Be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload, including being able to prioritise, meet timescales and work under pressure.
• Develop and maintain record-based systems including accurate written records.
• Manage sometimes challenging and potentially confrontational situations with professionalism.
• Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills including understanding of contractual compliance and setting up new contracts.
• Experience of working in an administrative / financial setting including an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent qualification in administration / secretarial roles).
• Able to use Microsoft Office and other IT systems to a high standard.
