About Us
The Social Care and Education Team are part of IT Services. We are a small team providing support on the adoption, use and development of the council’s priority Social Care and Education applications. This is an exciting time to join the team as we look to maximise the benefits of recently implemented applications, developments in AI, and navigate Local Government Reorganisation.
About the Role
The Product Manager (Social Care & Education) will be a subject matter expert on the Adult Social Care applications. They will be aware of and will contribute to application roadmap developments, keep abreast of legislative changes and organisational priorities, and advise on best practice use and development of the Adult Social Care applications.
The role will require the development of close working relationships with other teams in IT– primarily but not exclusively Customer Servies, Infrastructure Services, Platform Team and Digital Academy, as well as Adult Social Care and associated services including but not limited to Data and Insights, Customer Services, Corporate Finance and Supported Travel as well as Partner Organisations. The postholder will be highly organised, adept at troubleshooting, customer focussed and have a commitment to personal and staff development.

Your office base may be subject to change as we are currently transitioning between temporary and permanent office locations due to the closure of County Hall. If this is applicable to you, you will be notified, but no reimbursement will apply in respect of travel.
