Premises Officer (Afternoon shift)

Scale 3 £26,403 - £28,598 per annum (pay award pending)

37 hours per week

The Property and Assets Team are looking to recruit an afternoon Premises Officer to undertake a variety of maintenance duties at our main Council offices in Narborough.

Duties will include general DIY duties such as basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating, opening and closing of buildings, meet and greet during evening Council meetings, setting up of meeting rooms. You may also need to deal with any emergency spillages or cleaning duties throughout the working day, be liaise with any external contractors, and ensure general maintenance and storage of any cleaning equipment and supplies. You must also be willing to undertake training in First Aid, Asbestos awareness, Legionella awareness, Fire Marshall and working at heights.

Working alongside one other colleague the regular working hours will be:

10:30 – 18:30 Mon – Thurs and 10:30 – 18:00 Friday

In addition, scheduled and non-scheduled meetings may result in finish times outside of these hours for which the out of hours payment is payable. This is likely to be approximately 80 hours per annum.
