About the Role

The position of Premises Officer in our Facilities Management Service is an opportunity to showcase your skillset as an accomplished technician with an aptitude for delivering excellent customer service within the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

Annually, our operations teams facilitate over 26 million journeys through the Mersey Tunnels and operate the Mersey Ferries services – carrying over 600,000 passengers. Our Maintenance Delivery services respond to over 20,000 reactive and planned maintenance tasks and support our wider investment plans across our diverse estate. The Combined Authority is a 24/7, 365-day Operation and our Assets are key contributors to the social and economic wellbeing of Liverpool City Region and beyond.

About the person

Reporting to the Buildings and Premises Manager, the Premises Officer will deliver a critical service for the effective statutory compliance, maintenance and repair of our headquarters at Mann Island and other operational buildings as may be required. Acting as the technical lead, inspecting repairing maintaining and monitoring a complex range of building infrastructure you will ensure our headquarters are maintained to the highest standards. Knowledge of health and safety legislation for effective building infrastructure and management is therefore essential. When not engaged in maintenance activities you will also play a key role in providing support to our front of house concierge operations delivering an excellent customer experience for our building occupiers and visitors.
