Salary: £44,208 - £50,424 per annum
Grade: F
Permanent Contract
37 Hours per week
We are seeking an exceptional, engaging and committed individual to join us as Practice Manager within Thurrock’s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
The Role:
This role is a unique and exciting opportunity to support the MASH team in a secure environment to assess risk to children and young people in Thurrock, consider threshold for intervention and work alongside key agencies to appropriately information share and promote the welfare of children.
The post holder will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments, deputising for the team manager where necessary and will need to comply with and promote legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all child protection and complex children in need cases are responded and signposted to the appropriate service in a timely manner.
The Postholder:
- This is a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, you will be required to establish relationships with partners, maintain consistent professional conduct and be committed to our anti-racist pledge
- Work in the office 2 days per week minimum
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, produce high quality assessment of risk and prioritise urgency
- Must be a qualified social worker and registered with SWE
- Must have previous experience of working within a MASH Team.
- Enhanced DBS Check is required which we will provide at no additional cost
