Job Title: Permit & TTRO Team Leader
Salary: £45,624 – £52,038 per annum
Grade: F
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
About the Department
The Permit & TTRO Team Leader has a key role in the delivery of the Thurrock Permit Scheme. This particular role entails stringent investigation of permit applications ensuring that all are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. The successful applicant will assist in the co-ordination of the road network ensuring no clashes occur with other works, investigate non-compliances, highlighting Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN’s) and dealing with enquiries and complaints from residents and cabinet members. The role also involves the management of drafting and processing of road closure applications whether they relate to planned or immediate activities. The role will also involve the management and requesting of invoices for NRSWA & TMA related activities. The applicant must have intensive knowledge of NRSWA and the TMA.
About the Role
As a Permit & TTRO Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all permit applications are assessed thoroughly, accurately and within the required timescales.
- Ensuring all TTRO/TTRN applications are managed and processed swiftly and accurately.
- Management of all NRSWA & TMA related invoices.
- Data Analysis and reporting of various activities on the network including, but not limited to Permits, Inspections, FPN's, Section 74's, Performance etc.
This role offers the chance to make a real difference by stringent management of the road network and the modernisation of the required reporting functions.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Extensive knowledge of NRSWA & the TMA
- Excellent organisation skills
- Extensive knowledge of reporting tools i.e. Power BI
- In depth experience of Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
Essential qualifications: Extensive knowledge of NRSWA & the TMA.
