    About The Job

    Salary: Pro rata £14,731 to £15,458 per annum (£27,254 to £28,598 fte equivalent)
    Contract Type: Permanent
    Working Pattern: Part time - 20 hours per week (Hours to be discussed at interview)
    Location: Based in Bridge House, Worthing- hybrid working available and will be discussed further at interview.

    Interview dates: 19th and 22nd August

    Pause is a dedicated service to support birth parents in West Sussex. The focus will be to work with women who have experienced, and are at risk of, repeat pregnancies that result in children needing to be removed from their care who do not currently have children in their care.

    As a Coordinator you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and confidential information, guidance and assistance and administrative support. This will enable staff to perform their duties effectively and efficiently. You will act as a key liaison for partner agencies as well as being a direct point of contact for women themselves.

    The Pause Coordinator is key to the successful functioning of the Practice. As the fundamental supporting role in a small team, you will coordinate and organize team systems and processes, build effective partnerships with other agencies and stakeholders that support women, and work in a trauma informed way to role model to professionals working with birth parents.

    Experience and Skills

    Just a few key skills you will need include:

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence the actions of others and communicate information which may be complex and contentious.
    • Ability to interpret complex information and produce high-quality documents with minimal guidance.
    • Experience and a demonstrable understanding of the key tasks required to deliver and support the work of a busy outreach team.
    • Evidence of sound working knowledge of the practice of local authority meetings, decision-making and the roles of the Principal Leadership and Senior Management Teams.
