Make a Difference
Join us as a Park Maintenance Officer and play a vital role in keeping the districts parks, playing fields and promenade safe, clean, and welcoming. Your work will help maintain high standards, including Green Flag Award criteria, while supporting community groups and volunteers to enhance the enjoyment of our open spaces for everyone.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll carry out routine inspections, maintain grounds, and ensure equipment and facilities are safe and well-kept. Your role includes supporting seasonal Splash Park operations and providing a friendly, visible presence to the public. You’ll work alongside Friends Groups and volunteers, and keep accurate records to support safety and compliance.

You’ll Fit Right In If…
You have experience in outdoor maintenance and enjoy working as part of a team. You hold a full UK driving licence and are comfortable using hand tools and light machinery safely. Your positive attitude shines through in community engagement, and you communicate confidently with the public. You’re adaptable to working shifts, including weekends, and bank holidays, and you take pride in your work, showing ownership and ambition in everything you do. A DBS check is required for this role.
