Are you passionate about improving the lives of babies and their families? Are you a skilled therapist who puts babies at the heart of your practice? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.

Under the Family Hubs and Best Start in Life programme, Croydon has transformed its approach to Early Intervention and is radically changing the way it works with babies and their families. We are supporting families to identify their strengths and needs, supporting them to improve outcomes, build resilience and develop their life chances. We continue to ensure that families receive the right help, at the right time, and in the right way in order to make a difference.

To do this, we are recruiting a Parent Infant Therapist for our Parent And Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS). Working across our locality teams, the role will deliver and embed the clinical model of parent - infant practice within the first 1001 critical days.

The PAIRS therapist will deliver a high standard of psychodynamically informed parent infant psychotherapy and/or other modes of relationship based interventions.

The service will be delivered in families’ homes, children’s centres and community settings across the borough.

In return for your passion, hard work and commitment we can offer you a supportive working environment with regular supervision, which is reflective. We offer excellent learning and development opportunities, which will further enhance your skills and expertise.

The council supports flexible and agile working, offers a generous annual leave allowance and a range of staff benefits for you to access.

Interested? We would love to hear from you! You can also discuss these opportunities with Juliete Lecointe, Therapeutic Services Manager, by emailing Juliete.Lecointe@croydon.gov.uk

Hours 21.6 per week (0.6 FTE), part time

Closing date 19th April, 2026 (11:59pm)
