    An opportunity has arisen within Housing Maintenance for a Multitasked Carpenter to carry out a wide range of works to its housing stock.

    The successful applicant will have previous experience in carpentry and joinery work, together with knowledge of construction and carpentry regulations pertinent to this type of work to a wide range of building types.

    The successful applicant will have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery.

    Relevant knowledge of Health and Safety requirements relevant to this type of work and a full valid driving licence are essential for this post.

    You will have a commitment to customer care along with excellent communication skills in order to liaise with tenants.

    Experience in a range of associated maintenance repairs and skills is essential and can be found in the Job Description (Annex 1).

    You should also be available to assist in an out of hours service on a rota basis as and when required.
