The Role

As a Money Advice Caseworker, you will work directly with clients experiencing debt and financial hardship. You will provide high-quality advice and casework, helping clients understand their options and take positive steps towards resolving their financial difficulties.

You will support clients with compassion and professionalism, breaking down complex information into practical, achievable solutions. This includes assessing financial circumstances, preparing realistic budgets, identifying priority debts, negotiating with creditors, and empowering clients to make informed decisions about their finances.

We are seeking an experienced Debt Adviser with experience of providing welfare advice, casework or debt advice.

We would love to hear from you if you are:

  • Experience of debt, money, welfare benefits, or related advice work.

  • Knowledge of debt services, creditor negotiation, and financial capability support.

  • An empathetic communicator

  • Comfortable with numbers and difficult conversations

  • A natural problem‑solver who stays calm under pressure

  • Organised, resilient, and adaptable

  • A team player who’s open to feedback
