LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR – Required for immediate start

Scale 1 (SCP 3)

Actual Salary: £4,460.86 per annum, FTE £25,614

We have a vacancy to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly staff team at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.

The hours of work are:

Part-time 7.5 hrs per week, Term Time Only, Permanent Contract

11.45am – 1.15pm, Monday – Friday (1.5hr per day)

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Enjoys working with children
  • Is energetic, flexible and able to work within our team
  • Is sensible and able to use their own initiative
  • Can assist with the management of lunchtimes within our school.

We would like to appoint a kind and responsible candidate to look after our children at lunchtimes for 7.5 hours per week, term time only.

The successful candidate will provide general support over the lunchtime period assisting with serving food, supporting children while they are eating their lunch, clearing up lunches and monitoring safe and appropriate play outside on the playground. This is a very rewarding and fun role, and a wonderful opportunity to work on a part-time basis.

Previous experience of working with children and a first aid qualification would be an advantage though not essential.
