Lionheart School supports some of the most vulnerable young people on the island. We are looking for exceptional English Maths and Science teachers to join our innovative online provision, Lionheart anywhere. This is more than teaching lessons online, its about building relationships, creating belonging and helping young people who are furthest from education, reconnect with learning.

The successful candidates will be a highly motivated, creative individuals who have high expectations of all children and what they can achieve. If you want to make a difference to children’s lives, are enthusiastic and emotionally resilient then we want to hear from you. We can offer you a dedicated staff team and opportunities for excellent personal and career development.

Lionheart Anywhere offers a different approach to education for young people who need greater flexibility, personalisation, and support to engage successfully with learning. Our provision is designed around the individual, combining live online teaching, independent learning, personal development, and targeted support to help young people reconnect with education and make meaningful progress.

We recognise that for some young people, a traditional classroom environment has not enabled them to thrive. Lionheart Anywhere creates alternative pathways that respond to each learner's needs, interests, strengths, and readiness, giving them the opportunity to build confidence, develop independence and experience success.

Teaching within Lionheart Anywhere requires a flexible, creative, and student-centred approach. This is not simply about delivering traditional classroom lessons online. Teachers are expected to think differently about how learning is designed, delivered, and accessed.

We are looking for teachers who understand that successful teaching is not always about asking a young person to fit the curriculum, but sometimes about finding the right way for the curriculum to reach the young person.

You will need to be curious, adaptable, and willing to think beyond the traditional classroom. Above all, you will believe in building relationships, recognising strengths and helping young people rediscover confidence in themselves as learners. Lionheart Anywhere is an evolving provision, and we are looking for people who are excited by the opportunity to help shape what education can look like when we genuinely put the individual young person at its centre.

Location and flexible working can be discussed at interview.
