Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue - Wholetime Firefighter Transfers
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue- Wholetime Firefighter Opportunities in Lincolnshire
From January 2027, our day-crewed stations will move to a daytime wholetime model, with night-time cover provided through our on-call arrangements. Alongside the introduction of 24/7 wholetime cover at Grantham, this will create additional firefighter posts across Lincolnshire.
We are looking for experienced and competent wholetime firefighters who want to bring their skills to Lincolnshire, contribute to this important period of change and help us continue to provide an effective response to our communities.
Joining Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue offers more than a new posting. You will become part of a Service investing in its people, operational capability and future workforce. There may also be opportunities to undertake an on-call contract, enabling you to support your local community and broaden your operational experience.
Build your future with Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue
We want people to build a career with us. We support colleagues to develop their operational and leadership skills, pursue recognised development pathways and prepare for future roles. With workforce turnover anticipated over the coming years, there are likely to be opportunities for progression for those who demonstrate the right values, potential and commitment.
Appointments may be made to any wholetime-crewed station in Lincolnshire, according to Service need and operational requirements. Wherever you are posted, you will be supported to contribute, develop and make a positive difference.
We are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace where everyone is valued, respected and empowered to contribute their skills, experience and perspectives. Diversity of backgrounds, experiences and ideas strengthens our ability to work together to create safer communities.
