Charnwood Borough Council is seeking two IT Support Analysts to join its Information Services team. This role is central to providing technical IT support across the organisation, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and systems. You will act as the first point of contact for IT issues, diagnosing and resolving incidents, managing service requests, and delivering excellent customer service to users at all levels.

The successful candidate will have experience in IT support, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Office packages, and Active Directory. Knowledge of networking, telephony systems, and hardware is essential, along with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. ITIL Foundation or MCP certification is desirable, but equivalent experience will be considered. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure are key.
