Band: B

Salary: £25,731 - £27,870 per annum pro rata to hours worked

Part-time: 14 Hours Per Week

The Friendship club provides social interaction for the members that attend, this includes activities and outings. Our staff work with members to set and work towards individual goals in an achievable timeframe.

We are currently looking for a Care Worker who can work within our team based in Cromwell Road, Grays.

Our service runs from Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. However, we provide escorting duties to support the minibus drivers to collect and drop off members - this is worked on a rota basis which will entail a slightly earlier start time of 8:45am.

A full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is not required for this role but you must be able to ensure you can arrive on time when there are shortages with public transport.

The successful candidate will need to have a professional attitude and have knowledge around the understanding of Dementia, Behaviours that may be challenging, Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity, Adaptable communication, effective listening & working as part of a team and working independently.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for adults is required at enhanced plus barred list level
