We are delighted to invite applications for an Inclusion Teacher to lead an Inclusion Intervention Space (IIS) from January 2027, or earlier if available. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop a provision that supports children to thrive both academically and personally.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher who shares our belief that every child deserves an exceptional education and the opportunity to experience success. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering provision that enables pupils to overcome barriers to learning, develop independence and flourish within our inclusive school community.
As part of our ongoing planning, we are exploring an IIS model that will focus on supporting autism, children working significantly below age-related expectations, and those requiring additional support to develop independence, self-regulation and engagement in learning.

The recruitment process
We believe in a transparent and supportive recruitment process that gives you the opportunity to showcase your strengths.
The recruitment process will consist of the following stages:
- Application Deadline: The deadline for applications will be Monday 2nd November 2026.
- Application Shortlisting: We will carefully review your application, focusing on how your skills, experience, and teaching philosophy align with our values, job description and person specification. If you are shortlisted for interview, we will contact you on Wednesday 4th
- A virtual meeting with the Headteacher and SENDCo on Monday 9th
- The interview will then take place on Monday 16th The interview will consist of a formal interview, a short observed lesson and a written task.
- The teaching observation will allow us to see your teaching, how you engage children, and how you manage a small group of pupils.
- In the formal interview we will discuss your approach to teaching, safeguarding, and your vision for the role. There will also be a chance for you to ask questions and learn more about our school community.
- We will also ask you to complete a written task as part of the process, with information about this shared on the interview day.
If you require any assistance during the process, please inform us prior to the interview date. We are committed to making this process as smooth and informative as possible. After the interview, we will provide you with feedback and, if successful, make a formal offer. We will not provide feedback on individual applications.
