Lionheart School is a pupil referral unit that supports some of the most vulnerable young people on the island. An exciting opportunity now exists to join our highly inclusive school as an ICT Technician to support the implementation of our on-line learning platform Lionheart Anywhere.

ICT Team

You would be joining a supportive, creative and forward-thinking ICT team that is passionate about using technology to make a genuine difference to young people. We work collaboratively, share ideas and are not afraid to try something new when it could improve a student's experience of education. The team is involved in much more than traditional ICT, exploring areas such as digital learning, gaming and esports, online learning, digital skills and emerging technologies. There is plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas, develop new approaches and help shape how technology is used across Lionheart Anywhere as the provision continues to grow.

Lionheart Anywhere

Lionheart Anywhere is about creating a different way of accessing education for young people who need greater flexibility, personalisation and support. We work creatively to build learning around the individual, combining online teaching, independent activities, personal development and opportunities to reconnect with education at a pace that is right for them. Joining the Lionheart Anywhere team means becoming part of an innovative and evolving project, where staff are encouraged to bring ideas, try new approaches and think beyond the traditional classroom. Most importantly, it is about building positive relationships with young people, recognising their strengths and helping them to believe that education can work for them.
