
Home Improvement Agency Adaptations Case Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Council’s Home Improvement Agency Disabled Facilities Grants team. This is a key role in supporting vulnerable people to remain living at home independently in safety and comfort.
Roles That Matter
For this very demanding role, you will need to be an excellent communicator with the confidence to liase with customers, contractors, professionals etc. You will possess exceptional organisational skills along with the ability to deal with complex issues in a sensitive manor.
Working flexibly both as a team member, and on your own in a demanding and diverse customer-focused environment you will ideally have experience of working with elderly, disabled, vulnerable clients.
You will possess the ability to have exceptional keyboard skills, data entry and retrieval skills, and be able to interrogate systems, and produce details reports when required.
This role allows for hybrid working, combining working from home with access to an agile work hub and the undertaking of home visits of properties across the borough when required.

Salary range
- £28,598 - £31,022 per year
