Head of Chief Executive Office

We are looking for an experienced, highly organised and partnership-orientated leader to head the Chief Executive’s Office at the heart of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

Working closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Leadership Team, Mayors Office, Directors Forum and Senior Leadership Forum, you will provide strategic advice and support, manage sensitive and confidential issues, and act as a trusted adviser to the Chief Executive. You will play a key role in navigating complex organisational and stakeholder matters, exercising sound judgement, discretion and diplomacy to resolve issues, manage correspondence and progress priorities effectively.

You will lead the Chief Executive’s Office team, ensuring excellent executive support is provided to the Executive Leadership Team, coordinating organisational priorities and providing a strong link between senior leadership and the wider organisation.

This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished leader with exceptional relationship-building, influencing and communication skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle complex, high-profile and often confidential matters with professionalism and integrity.
