We are looking for an excellent, motivated and innovative teaching assistant to join our wonderful team either after October half term or in January for the right candidate. This role is mainly class based supporting the class teachers, providing group interventions and/ or supporting children with specific needs. There will be some PPA/class cover required also.

We are looking for:
- A caring, nurturing and creative practitioner to join our team who can evidence a proven record of implementing the National Curriculum.
- Someone who has experience of working in a primary school.
- Someone who has experience of working with children with additional needs – e.g. ASD, ADHD
- As a key member of the team this may involve some working 1:1 and in small group basis with children with additional needs to ensure learning outcomes are supported and achieved alongside peers.
- A teaching assistant who is committed to inclusion, who believes all children can achieve.
- Someone who is confident and has a positive attitude even during some challenging moments.
- Someone who has the attributes to deliver high quality social and emotional support
- Someone able to liaise with class teachers, outside agencies and parents to help develop individual education plans and contribute to educational reviews.
- Someone who will use initiative to support and facilitate individual learning needs to ensure rapid progress
- Someone who supports our beliefs that core values, and our own school values should underpin all we do and are at the heart of all aspects of school.
- Someone with a relevant level 4 qualification or equivalent.
