At Bradshaw, our commitment to our pupils is that we will attract, retain and develop excellent staff. The personal welfare and professional development of staff is therefore imperative. Previous school catering experience is not needed but may be an advantage. We are seeking someone with a proven ability to follow health and safety procedures and policies as well as being flexible when needed. The successful applicant must be self-motivated and able to work well under direction.

Candidates must have:
• The relevant qualification, at least a Level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene
• Experience of working in a commercial kitchen, e.g. care homes, nurseries and schools
• The necessary English and Maths skills to update paper and computer records for the purposes of recording safety and hygiene documentation and for ordering stock.

• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, the pupils and other members of school staff.
• Strong communication skills and a good sense of self-awareness.

Our school offers you the opportunity to:
• Work in a friendly, caring and inclusive community where everyone is valued.
• Engage with enthusiastic children who are well behaved and enjoy learning.
