Family Connector – Building Stronger Communities Together Grade F | Agile Working Across Sefton | Full-Time

Are you passionate about connecting people, building relationships, and making a real difference in your community? Sefton Council is looking for enthusiastic and community-minded Family Connectors to join our innovative Family Hub network.

As a Family Connector, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening Early Help services for children, young people (0–25), and families. You’ll work across community, voluntary, and statutory organisations to build partnerships, promote access to support, and empower families to thrive.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships with local partners, schools, health providers, and community groups
  • Promote and support access to Family Hub services and digital resources
  • Organise community events, forums, and consultations to understand local needs
  • Develop and maintain a volunteer programme across Family Hubs
  • Share information and signpost families to the right support at the right time

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in community engagement or with families and young people
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A good understanding of early intervention, safeguarding, and local services
  • Confidence using digital tools, social media, and online platforms
  • A proactive, inclusive, and collaborative approach
